Khalsa College Tarn Taran has a proud and glorious history of 25 years. It was established in 2000 with the noble motive of reviving Sikh values, promoting Punjabi language and culture and spreading education that is modern and aligned with science and technology. In the quest to achieve these objectives, the college has played a leading role in shaping an educated and progressive Punjab. Khalsa College, as an autonomous institution, is a matter of pride for the entire nation. The college consistently holds the first position among autonomous colleges in Punjab, according to the ranking by Educationworld (EW).

The alumni of the college have achieved great heights in academics, literature, politics, military, sports, and cultural and social services. They have brought laurels to the institution and contributed significantly to enhancing its global reputation. The college excels not only in academic pursuits but also demonstrates commendable performance in sports and cultural activities.

The majestic and spacious structure, which enjoys the status of Heritage building, stands as a symbol of inspiration, encouraging students to aspire for greatness and strive for excellence in life. This is why the students of the college demonstrate exemplary character and ethical conduct.
